In Rig Veda, the Maruts are described as being "self-yoked."
Every man must take on burdens, work, and responsibilities. For the First Men of The Order of Fire, "self-yoked" has come to represent the burdens and the work that a man chooses for himself.
We created a glyph to represent the concept, much in the way that some have assigned deep esoteric meanings to runes that were probably just letters to most people in the ancient world.
As creators like the men who preceded us, we skipped the middleman and are developing and appropriating symbols to represent concepts that are important to us.
Instead of trying to tease the hidden meanings we want out of the found carvings of others to "find" meaning in life...we create symbols and meaning in the present.
